Privacy Policy

Scope of application

This privacy policy informs users about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider on this website (hereinafter referred to as ‘offer’).

The legal basis for data protection can be found in the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Server-Logfiles

The provider (or its webspace provider) collects data about each access to the website (so-called server log files). The access data includes:< 0 >name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, securing and optimising the website. However, the provider reserves the right to subsequently review the log data if there are concrete indications that give rise to a justified suspicion of illegal use.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes their name, email address or telephone number. However, data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites someone has visited also counts as personal data.

Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is permitted by law or if users consent to the collection of data. This primarily concerns the conclusion of contracts and enquiries regarding such contracts.

Bookings on this website are made in cooperation with our partner Eviivo. The relevant privacy policy can be found at the following link: https://eviivo.com/de/datenschutz/

Contact

When contacting the provider (e.g. via contact form, booking or email), the user’s details are stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case follow-up questions arise.t.

Comments and contributions

When users leave comments on the blog or other posts, their IP addresses are stored. This is done for the security of the provider in case someone writes illegal content in comments and posts (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In this case, the provider itself can be prosecuted for the comment or post and is therefore interested in the identity of the author.

Integration of third-party services and content

It may happen that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites, is integrated into this online offering. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as ‘third-party providers’) perceive the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of this content. We endeavour to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence on whether third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes, for example. As far as we are aware of this, we inform users accordingly.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that enable specific information relating to the device to be stored on the user’s access device (PC, smartphone, etc.). On the one hand, they serve to improve the user-friendliness of websites and thus benefit users (e.g. storage of login data). On the other hand, they serve to collect statistical data on website usage and to analyse it for the purpose of improving the website. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option that restricts or completely prevents the storage of cookies. However, please note that the use and, in particular, the ease of use will be restricted without cookies.

You can manage many online advertising cookies from companies via the

Use of Facebook social plugins

This website uses social plugins (‘plugins’) from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (‘Facebook’). The plugins can be recognised by one of the Facebook logos (white ‘f’ on a blue tile or a ‘thumbs up’ sign) or are marked with the addition ‘Facebook Social Plugin’. The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When a user accesses a page on this website that contains such a plugin, their browser will establish a direct connection to Facebook’s servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser and integrated into the website. The provider therefore has no influence on the scope of data that Facebook collects using this plugin and therefore informs users according to its state of knowledge / Kenntnisstand:

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the offer. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to their Facebook account. When users interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. Even if a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still a possibility that Facebook may obtain and store their IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymised IP address is stored in Germany.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as the relevant rights and setting options for protecting the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy:
https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about them via this offer and link it to their membership data stored on Facebook, they must log out of Facebook before visiting the website.

It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example with the „Facebook Blocker„.

Revocation, changes, corrections and updates

The user has the right to request information free of charge about the personal data stored about them. In addition, the user has the right to correct inaccurate data, block and delete their personal data, provided that this does not conflict with any legal retention obligations.
